Fine art photography is photography created in accordance with the vision of the artist as photographer. Fine art photography stands in contrast to representational photography, such as photojournalism, which provides a documentary visual account of specific subjects and events, literally re-presenting objective reality rather than the subjective intent of the photographer; and commercial photography, the primary focus of which is to advertise products or services.
Open Edition Prints are all signed along with the year they were taken by Juliano Baby. All Open Edition Prints are printed on high-grade Hahnemühle Matt, Semi-Gloss or Gloss finish papers (finish dependant upon customers request). This paper is selected for its ability to translate the full gambit of colors in Juliano's images and will ensure a quality product for many years when displayed in normal conditions. Open Edition prints are wrapped in acid-free tissue paper, delicately rolled and shipped inside heavy duty cardboard mailing tubes, to ensure the prints are undamaged upon arrival.
